In London!!!

I think that when you visit London will visit many places ... I hope to visit all the places I have in mind! but I think that I would not miss for any reason would be the Buckingham Palace gate because this is a representative of the history of the United Kingdom.

Other interesting place to go is The London Eye because offers a unique opportunity to view all of London from the biggest observation wheel in the world.

I would also like to visit some castles and parks such as Windsor Castle or Kensington Gardens.

I really think you can not visit all these places in a week but dreaming does not cost anything.

MY FAVORITE GAME

In my childhood my favorite game was to skip rope. In the school I played to jump rope in my break and we competed with my classmate. This play was my passion until 10 years old. I enjoy too much jumping with my friends. Even there are many games with songs to practice while you’re jumping.

To play jump rope only need a long rope and least three persons, two to take the rope and turn rope and one person to jump. But in the game many people can participate. The idea of playing with the rope is that you can make different performance to jump rope. There are songs associated with the game of jump rope that will guide what should be done while jumping.

Really i don't remember who taught me how to jump rope but i think i learned to jump rope with my school friends.

I played jumping riope everey day when I was in my school,Really, Every week.

Also , there are other ganes that I love like to play hide. I really enjoyed this game because I had a lot of adrenaline especially if we hid in the night. We played this game often with my cousins almost every weekend because they were the days of visiting my grandmother and met the whole family. In my family there are many cousins, then this game was very fun because you had to find a lot of children in many places, they let us play in the street, that was good because I would not let me go out less at night . I think they did well just to get rid of annoying child

A great woman

the greatest of all time Chile's Violeta Parra. She is a Chilean composer. She was born on October 4, 1917, in San Carlos, Chillan, a city in southern Chile. She was a woman with a strong caracther and had a great passion for music, because it came from the Family of flolklorist. His father, Nicanor Parra, folklorist know taugh to sing.

His death is not clear. She committed suicide on February 5, 1967. Violet has just given his life with a gunshot to the head.

Violeta Parra's works were important because they were capable of transmitting a cultural legacy in Chilean folklore.

if it were possible for me to ask a question to Violeta Parra, I would ask her, why someone so successful and known througouth the world by the folklore of our land is shown with a big pain? This question I would Because Violeta Parra was a tragic death and lived his last days in a complicated historical context for our country.

I think she is a landmark for our country abroad because it showed the deepest part of our culture, folklore, this is very important because it allows the world recognize our identity from the art that many rural women engaged Chilean and many times was to make a living. This allows the value of crafts and folk songs remain as Chile's cultural heritage.

That is why the figure of this great woman is so important to our country, for its recognition not only in Chile but also abroad

An ideal Job

If I could choose a Job, i will choose a work related to with the nature. My ideal a job is in a tour for the ocean pacific or the caribean Sea or mediterranean Sea. Because, I makes it possible to travel, to know and to enjoy differents cultures. Really, my ideal job is travel for the world knowing others custom.
I think i would like to have a job with a hours very flexible or maybe no times. Really, I would like to work for season. So, to fill the remaining to time to enjoy somewhere that I want. i think that I love to work in tourism or to work in anything to related at tourism is a good and funny job. It´s the perfect complement for me. That better job that tourist guide.
I know a person that who has this kind of job and she tells me taht is very funny. She enjoys doing this job. Because , she can to travel always and in a differents times of the year. This person study geogaphy and works as tourist guide in a her free time, in vacations.

An interesting aspect of tourism is that it can work continuously innovate in the way of submitting work to tourists, depending on how it addresses what is to be disclosed.
Currently, it has developed increasingly eco-tourism as a way to help advance economic development zones with little, for example.

This is an area to which you can benefit substantially benefit both for the tourist place and for the people who live there.

A one on one

I would like meet Leonardo da vinci because was a supreme example of a Renaissance genius who possessed one of the greatest minds of all times.
Da Vinci was born April 15, 1452, and died May 2, 1519. He would wear pink to make his complexion look fresher. Leonardo never attended public school. He was raised by his single father. When Leonardo was fifteen he joined the studio af Andrea del Verrocchio in Florence.
Da Vinci studied philosophy, natural history, anatomy, biology, medicine, optics, acoustics, science, mathematics and hydraulics.

if given the chance to talk to him, ask him about his comprehensive knowledge. I wonder if it has any purpose in the life and if you leave a legacy. It also occurs to me asking how you would like to be remembered. Another question that comes to mind is to ask him is, if you prefer a theme that has specialized.

I think meeting this person would be interesting because is a genius. I really admire this person by his intellectual capacity and he has made a number of interesting discoveries to related with the art.

Da Vinci drew the first relaxed portraits with misty landscapes in the background. He used warm and passionate colours to create the misty look on the landscapes. Da Vinci had a different way of painting with mixing colours. Da Vinci did not put eyebrows on his painting.

Da Vinci changed the way people painted and made sculptures. Da Vinci was famous for the way he used light in his portraits. It seemed as if you could see into the soul of the paintings.

A perfect day

A idea of a perfect day for me, it’ s always together my doughter and my boyfriends. It isn´t necessary to have special things only to share a moment together . i like to spend time with this person because they are the persons most important for me.
But that of day will be really perfect, and if I was given a choose, I will plan a trip at the beach or at the lake near my city . Really , anywhere outdoors. I will go a this type the place because i think that in a place with nature, has benefits in all sense. A day in a beach together a the pesrsons that loves, or a lake or inclused in your home , it can be a perfect for me.
The main idea is i have near at the persons that I love.
However, travel to diference place , it´s more funny.
If now I to plan a perfect day, it’s will be at cajon del Maipo , and will takeaway mnecesary meals, delicius meals, such as sald, meat and pies , cookies ,and a lot of fruits and my swimsuit and enjoy the river and the landscape.
I really enjoy of simply things, such as a good music , a good meals and a good company. There is more than enought for me , and with this things I can have a oerfect day.
However , in this moment a day perfect for me will be to give a perfect day a my grandmother, she is a excelent person and i thik that she deserve to haver a perfect day because she live truied to give a perfect day at their grandchild and she had forget own person.

Hello dear colleagues...

Santiago is a city with few places within this, to be visited by foreign tourists. Within these city are La Plaza de Armas, La Catedral Metropolitana, El Palacio de La Moneda, Cerro San Cristóbal, Cerro Santa Lucia, El Barrio Bellavista, Barrio Lastarria, Parque Forestal, El Pueblito de Los Dominicos, Nature Sanctuary Yerba Loca, National Reserve Río Clarillo, among others. But there are historical sites located in the center of Santiago, which should go first to understand part of the culture of our country, as is the Plaza de Armas. Next saw places where you can eat some typical and end the day at a nightclub in Barrio Bellavistas.

For me, the top 5 places in Santiago are: La Plaza de Armas, Parque Forestal, Barrio Bellavista, Nature Sanctuary Yerba Loca and National Reserve Río Clarillo.

But there are places of historical interest located in downtown Santiago as the Plaza de Armas, here is the metropolitan Cathedral which is is considered one of the tourist attractions for its great beauty both inside and out, there are also some sculptures and many street performers. Another interesting place to visit may be the Palacio de La Moneda, an institution that has to be the oldest of the Chilean nation. there is also a new museum.

A beautiful place in Santiago, is the Forest Park, located on the banks of the Rio Mapocho. This park is inspired by models based on nineteenth century European parks and has endless rows of trees, curved roads and endless activities.

Near this park is the Bellavista neighborhood, here are several attractions for tourists such as restaurants, cafes, theaters, pubs and places to dance at night. Besides this the metropolitan zoo and home of our poet Pablo Neruda called La Chascona.

Finally can not cover miss our beautiful natural landscapes such as Rio Clarillo National Reserve, is located in the foothills of the central area southeast of Santiago, in the commune of Pirque, has an endless species of trees, fauna, flora, etc. It also serves as a refuge for many species that are endangered.

My favourite shop

Hello dear classmate

today I want to tell about my favourite shop... I really i don't know that to tell you.. because i don't have a shop favourite, maybe can to be my almacen of the corner or maybe the shop of pancakes..

Really I don' t have a lot of money as such for go out the shopping.

But I think there's a place I like to shop and that is in “La Feria”. This is a place where you can find many things like vegetables, fruits, groceries, household items and most importantly a lot of second-hand clothes. this is the real reason why I love going to the fair. Actually die if this place did not exist.

I am absolutely convinced that this place is completely part of me, do not even remember when was the first time I went to “La Feria”. I think I'm going to the fair since I have Rason.

when I go to the fair in the first place, I always buy things needed for the meal of the week. But also I buy other things as not necessary as second-hand clothes. Consider going to this place as a must at least once a week. There is always something to buy here, and you can not get home with empty hands after to go at La Feria. I can tell you that my last purchase was a Hamster, was rescued from this place and I gave him a good home.

I think this place is a kind of shop because they sell a variety of items and there are places allocated according to their specialty.

Hello Simon and Classmate!

This is a topic that I like a lot of talk. Because for me is not another more fun celebration than the Fiestas Patrias and every year I’m expecting enthusiastically that this moment arrive, as they are one of the few times in the year that I enjoy so much with things that are unique to my country such as the food, music and games. That is why I have such fond memories of my childhood at this date, especially going out with my parents at the Fondas of the Parque O’Higgins.

I have only good memories of my childhood.

I also remember the celebrations that were held in the house of my maternal grandmother that gathered the whole family. This was the best because I could see cousins and uncles had not seen for a long time. This was the best because I could see cousins and uncles had not seen for a long time. These were my first night parties, since my parents let me sleep later.

Another important memory I have of this date, is my paternal grandfather who enjoyed much of Sept. 18 because he could enjoy chicha he did with his own hands and the whole family enjoyed it.

Comparing the vision he had as a child about national holidays, I feel that once was a time of reunion with family and where I enjoyed simple things like eating a empanadas was made by my grandmother. However, today this date remains the most entertaining because also enjoy a tasty meal you can go out with your friends and the panorama changes, because is not the same as the one you had as a child, now also we go out with friends and we only not enjoy a empanada now can enjoy a delicious Terremoto.

Strike!!

I think that every people have the right to public demonstration and I also believe that to be heard in these times is necessary to draw the attention of the highest authorities through actions such as strikes to motivate stakeholders to demand real improvements in their demands.

Recently there was a demonstration that brought together a group of students from various faculties of this university, for the purpose of requiring profound improvements in higher education. In my opinion this type of events are valid because they are claiming something for the student community. Actually I agree with the strike at the university. I want a future that our country has a high quality education that all students can access it.

However, the right to strike that have every citizen has been repressed by the police force of our country with unnecessary violence as demonstrated by what happened in days spent in strike of our faculty.

In the last strike at the faculty of architecture, I did not participate in the strike for personal reasons but will always support these initiatives because I know they are in pursuit of a common good.

I also think it is admirable the work of all those classmate who have worked to defend public education and we need to assess all the effort they have put every day in the struggle for better education.

Finally, although I know for certain these demonstrations are not important, especially for those who are already out of the carreer I think it is always necessary that those who strive to have our support, since their struggle is for a better future for all.

My Daughter

Hello classmate , I’d like you to meet my daughter. She is Mariana and is a special girl. She is ten years old and is in fifth grade of primary. She is very nice and loves to make friends. One of its virtuos is to paint and act. She has very developed his artistic side, loves to act out scenes from Disney movies and paint things to give away. She is a very sensitive girl who loves animals and suffer greatly when something bad happens.
Now his concern is to make his first communion. She is very excited about this event because all his classmates also will do it. She likes events involving many people.
I love my doughter and is the most important thing i have in life.

World cup 2010: Chile v/s Honduras

Well. When the match between Honduras and Chile started I was watching the soccer game in my home. My parents were sleeping and my daughter was wake and was waiting to go to the school. At the time, I stayed alone in my home. I don´t like be alone.

Before the game I was writing essay for my subject “Conservation and Biodiversity”. This subject is very difficult for me, so I have to be very hard working. But I couldn´t concentrate, i was very nervous because I hadn´t finished my work, so I ended up feeling very tired.

After to do my work , i can enjoy the game overall when Chile to scored a goal. I was very exciting.

In my best Chileans players were Sanchez, he is a virtuous football player, he was the great figure of the and Jean Bausejour is very good football player. I think there‘s not Chilean player worst because the Chilean selection that play this football world cup are highly- trained and are all players of excellent level.

I really think that Chile could leave so far in this world cup but I don’t think that Chile can win the world cup final. There are some football teams very hard to beat. However, I would love to win the final world cup my country, it would be something special.

I just hope doesn’t lose the next game when they face Switzerland. I want to keep watching to Chile to participate in the South Africa word cup.

Why I decided to study geography??

Hello , the second task to English class is about Why I decide to study geography? Well, I decided to study geography because I ‘ve always been interested in everything related to the physical environment of our planet. Although this career includes other topics that are related also to the human side of geography. But the most attractive of career is that each subject has a field trip to complement the class better.

With respect to who helped me to decide to study geography, this was a personal decision without the intervention of my family or friends. I investigated on my own about careers related to the study of the earth and this was why I finally decided. I have not thought of regret about my decision. Now I can’t regret, because I have no time to consider another career. Because now I can’t go back with my decision. I see my future positively, so I would like to specialize in any field of physical geography. For example, I would like to dedicate to studies and mechanisms related to the conservation of the biodiversity of our planet. On the other hand, I also interested in the field of environmental impact assessment.

My good friend

Hello classmate, I’m goig to talk about my good friend. She is Viviana and love her very much because we’ve Known since childhood. We were studying together in the primary and high school. We known about twenty years ago.

As I told you earlier, the place where we met was our school. We studied together throughout the school season, even were in the same university but studying different things.

Today she lives in Rancagua, wherefore we don’t see very often. She lives so far from my home. Then we get together once a month or less often.

Why you get on well with this person? Because, she is a person with a very light character and is very funny. When we have time, usually we get together to go camping to somewhere far from the city and we accompany our boyfriends who are also friends.

My friend Vivi has many qualities; she knows how to listen when I tell her something and also understands my problems. She loves nature and she is interested in a protected and preserving the environment. For this reason she decided to live away from the contamination of Santiago.She is a very good person.

My favourites activities in free time

One of my favourite free time activities is to read a good book. Especially sciencefiction novels or epic novels. The last novels I read was “El Imperio de los Dragones” by Valerio Massimo Manfredi , he’s an archaeologist and a historian besides the writing. He has written many historical novels, some of these are the trilogy "Alexandros", "Imperio","Paladion" and other. I love Valerio massimo. I love his novels.

I read this kind of novels in a vacations because during the remainder of the year I didn’t have time to read. I have a lot work in the university besides I work on weekens but to read in vacations it’s not enough . I ‘d like to have more time to read. I always read. My first book was about a Child’s space. So I think that´s why I like science fiction novels. Then began my love for books. To read for me is a travel to the imagination that sends me to different places. I enjoy doing this activity because I can use my imagination without limits.

Well this is just one of the activities I enjoy doing also I love listening to music and I enjoy preparing a delicious meal for my boyfriend.

A emotional film

the best movie I've seen recently i has been "Avatar", I saw a month ago.It's a beautiful film, but I don´t want to write about it this time. I want to write about other film that left an impression on me very much. that movie it's "I am Sam". This film is very emotional because it´s about a girl and her father who suffers from autism. Throught to this problem they are separeted and the girl is taken to an orphanage while she finds a family for adoption. the father admits his inability but still will not accept that her doughter away from his side. Then hegins with a hard struggle to recover his daughter. They live very sad situación while develops a suit for custody of the child.

When I saw this I was alone and cry a lot. I didn´t have anybody to share my pain with. So I thought it was very foolish but I couldn’t avoit. This is a dramatical film but has happy end.

I lke very so much this movie because show a rare case of family realtionships in which love triumph overa ll things. That makes me very happy.

I love my doughter very much.

My experience in the Earhtquake

"A door is propped upright, with a placard reading: "Do not pull down," on a destroyed street in Constitucion, on March 7. Some Chileans were still waiting for government aid a week after one of the strongest earthquakes on record and a roaring tsunami killed hundreds and ravaged cities and villages along the South American country's south-central coastline."

The 27 february at presente years was a day that I don't will forget. This day I 'm in the house of my boyfriend with his family. We were enjoying the Festival de Viña del Mar that showing on television. So after that the show ended we went to bed not what would be the reason but I couldn't sleep. Then a few seconds a go to bed I felt a strange noise. I woke my boyfriend and told him that something was happennig. Then also felt the noise and then in that moment started the moving whit my boyfriend left the room and couldn't not walk. We were scared because the house was moving too and it fell all things. But the most terrible thing is at that time I wasn´t with my doughter. I felt so bad didn´t know how she was. Thank got my doughter was very fine but she was very scared because she had never experienced an event of this magnitud.

Really was an experience unfortunate for those people who were at the epicenter of the disaster. For me is very sad to know about the losses that had all those people. However, it 's amazing how people have managed to succed despite the pain and grief of losing loved ones.

That is why the government must responde in a timely manner to mitigate the consecuence of an event of such magnitude because people need help in time, not just enought willpower.

The music a pleasure...which is your favourite song?

I Have a lot favourites songs because I love the music. However, one of this is Oceans by Pearl Jam.
The song belongs at movement "Grunge".This is a subgenre of alternative rock that arose at the beginning of the decade of the '90 in Seattle,Washington. The songs grunge are a mixture of heavily distorted electric guitars and song dynamics, and apathetic or angst-filled lyrics.
The first time that listen this song was when I bought my firts album of the band "Ten", listen to the disc inmediately and fall in love this song.
Now I listen oceans always at least seven time week, I do it every day when I want to remember the college. Really i like for this motive. This song it's so especial for me than do not stop sounding in my mind. It have a good melody and romantic lyric for those slightly romantic persons.

My favourite piece of technology

Hello classmtea and professor...this topic is a bit complicated because I 'm a slightly technological person.

Today I want to tell you about of my favourite piece of technology. this is "Mp3".

As far as I remember the first time that it used it was four years ago when my mother gave it to me in my birthday. It was a great gift.

I love my Mp3 because I can to take with me always and listen to the music very loud and not bothering the persons that is around you. I really like it because is a revolutionary digital audio format that allows the practical uses of the music. Also I can to change the list song a thoutsand times.

If it does not have my life would be very boring because I enjoy to listen the music when I go to alone in the bus or for the street. Then, in this moment my Mp3 a need turns.
